This residence was designed starting from its incredible geographical position on the crest of a hill in an extremely picturesque part of Romania. With a panoramic view of over 180 degrees, the challenge was to make the most of the strengths offered by the position, but also taking into account the technical and functional aspects of such a project.
The result was a two-storey, east-facing house with a generous interior garden and two levels: ground floor and basement. The design of this house followed the wishes of the owners, a young family, just starting out together, who want a modern and functional home.
The passage between the two levels - ground floor and basement - is made on a staircase with an imposing volume, which connects the two floors and creates a unitary space. With its distinctive materiality, bold accents, custom furnishings, unique decorations and artwork, the residence surprises with the beauty of the unexpected discovery of the spaces you walk through.
