02 Sep MAKE THE MOST OF SPACE: BED WITH STORAGE OPTIONS
A few decades ago, bedroom beds were provided at one end with a chest in which pillows, blankets or bed linen were stored. Today, modern beds no longer have this chest. But there are other storage options associated with a bed, so you can make the most of the interior space and still enjoy a stylish look.
Bed with storage drawers
Bed frames with drawers provide valuable storage space for storing linens, out-of-season items or other items that would require an additional wardrobe or closet in the room. It has the advantage of having easy access to the things stored in the drawer, but the drawer opening model must be chosen according to the location of the bed in the room. Most models of such beds cannot be mounted close to the wall.
Bed with folding spring and storage box
Although the storage space is still under the spring, as the bed with drawers, unlike the latter, the bed with folding spring has the advantage of offering a very large storage space. Practically, the entire surface under the bed is transformed into a storage place, where different types of objects can be stored, from bed linen, to toys and even sleeping bags, tents, beach umbrellas or travel suitcases.
Wardrobes with built-in bed
Most bedroom furniture designs include a built-in bed between two wardrobes. Many of these offers also include a wardrobe or overlapping shelves above the bed, thus saving even more space inside. There are also options for such furniture in which the bed also has additional storage spaces such as drawers or chests under the folding spring.
Bookcase with framed bed
Another model of furniture with a built-in bed is that of framing the bed between cabinets that also include bookcases. This solution brings an extra touch of elegance to the interior design, highlighting ones favorite hobbies, books and decorative items and thus creating an additional warm atmosphere.
These bed models with storage spaces are the ideal solution for smaller bedrooms, but they are equally useful in larger rooms. Beds with additional storage spaces help keeping order and cleanliness and create more free space in the room and a more airy and open environment.
