A loft game room has countless advantages: it provides a relaxing break after a busy week, allows the whole family to spend quality time together and can host fun events with friends.

Key elements for an attic game room

Before planning to set up an attic game room, check the strength of the floor. A typical game room includes a pool table, ping pong table, or other equipment that requires a strong floor. At the same time, the floor must withstand and absorb various impacts, so installing a thick carpet on the entire surface of the attic can be an effective solution.

To enjoy a visually airy space, choose a color scheme as simple as possible for the attic. Tables and game accessories installed in the room are usually full of color, so a neutral, monochromatic color background will eliminate the feeling of overcrowding the space. In addition, you can add one or more mirror surfaces to visually increase the interior space and the feeling of airiness and freedom of movement in the attic room.

Don’t forget the attic lighting. Even if there is a window, you can complement the light inside with the help of lighting fixtures, which can also be beautiful decorative objects.
